CHASE'S FIRST HAIRCUT!!

We took Chase in for his first haircut today. We got tired of people making fun of his mullet and calling him a girl(Auntie Heidi). It was tough for me to take him, because I was worried he would no longer look like my baby, but he would look like a little boy. But in the end, he still looks like my baby. He was a trooper, and even got to sit in a fun horse seat while it was being cut.

When Chase was all done, he got to play in the fire truck seat for big boys!! He thought that was pretty fun.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Every Valentine's Day, Mark and I do the same thing. We stay home and cook steak and lobster for dinner. It was delicious! Chase loved his Valentine's balloon from Mom and Dad

This year, Chase gave me a special Valentine.

It is amazing this kiddo is almost 18 months old. He is growing so fast and changing on a daily basis. He's talking like crazy and will repeat any word that you ask him to. It's fun to see him discover what's around him. He loves to play with balls, read books and you rarely see him without his stuffed Eyore that he carries all over the house.
Some days, I think he teaches us more than we teach him. We've learned patience, how to be flexible and what unconditional love is.
He really is a gift to us. We feel so blessed, and we know how to love him well.
